max tokens
A request parameter that caps how many tokens the model may generate in one call. Hitting it truncates the reply, and the stop reason tells you so.
MCP
An open JSON-RPC protocol for exposing tools, resources and prompts to a language model host, so one server works across any compatible client.
memory
State kept outside the request so a later one can use it. The model has none; the harness has all of it.
model
A frozen set of weights plus its tokenizer and serving config, selected by the name string in your request.
